Who’s To Blame?

Last week The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services released the results of their study on human motivation and accountability. When the findings were released the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 248 points the results showed that personal responsibility was at an all-time low.

The study was initially launched after a theater, tavern and a Montgomery Ward store were destroyed after a mob of unruly reptilian monsters escape from a science lab where they were being studied. The town of Kingston Falls was nearly destroyed before the reptilian monster’s leader known as “Stripe” was killed.

Ironically this could all have been avoided if Billy Pelzer (Gizmo’s) new owner would have been RESPONSIBLE enough to listen and follow three simple instructions:

1. Never expose Gizmo to direct sunlight this will kill it.
2. Never get it wet
3. And MOST IMPORTANTLY, NO MATTER HOW MUCH IT CRIES OR BEGS NEVER, EVER FEED IT AFTER MIDNIGHT.

I don’t want to spoil the end of the movie, but I will tell you that at the end of the documentary a Chinese man who was the original owner of “Gizmo” confiscated him to protect humanity. He understood that the “Western World” was not RESPONSIBLE enough to care for this exotic and potentialy dangerous animal.

If you want to learn more about this event, the 106 minute documentary “Gremlins” is available for rent or purchase.

If you want to be successful you must take 100% RESPONSIBILITY for every outcome you experience in life. This includes your income, your finances, your emotions, the results you produce, your health, state of fitness and appearance. YOU MUST TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR EVERYTHING THAT YOU ARE CURRENTLY EXPERIENCING.

“The secret to success is knowing who to blame for your failures.”

If you don’t like what you are experiencing you have to give up Blame! It’s easy to blame someone else, but who you’re blaming can never change you for the better. It doesn’t matter whose fault you think it is, how bad a childhood you had, how stupid your boss is, the fact that you only have 4 dollars to your name. No outside influence has the ability to change you without your consent. It’s impossible.

The person who has given you more problems than anyone else is the person sitting between your two elbows.

In order to become the success God created you to be… and achieve the greatness you were put on the earth to create- YOU MUST take 100% responsibility for your life. If you don’t you will never live up to your potential.

If you think this doesn’t apply to you, listen to your conversations. How often do you complain? If you’re complaining you’re blaming…
When you really UNDERSTAND that you have created your current conditions, then you will gain the power to re-create or dismantle negative and positive outcomes. You will gain the power to create your condition then you will obtain the POWER to succeed.

P.S. When you make a mistake it proves your human… when you make a mistake and blame it on someone else it makes you a good candidate for management.
