Welcome to the Judgement Zone

Yesterday was National Ice-Cream Awareness day. It was actually just National Ice-Cream day, but I think we should add Awareness to its official title because if you are not aware of Ice Cream you need to be.

Yesterday to celebrate this sacred day, I had a Dairy Queen Blizzard it only had around 1100 calories in it. It was either that or 367 asparagus spears, they have the same calories.

I opted for the Blizzard. I don’t want to become addicted to asparagus like one of my clients is addicted to cauliflower! I won’t name her name, but that is just weird Marie.
Yesterday’s calorie total was for me was 5250 calories. I ate everything including a couple ladies fingers….. I mean a couple lady fingers.

I texted two of my favorite clients and to tell them my calorie total, in the text I added “I am glad this is a judgement free zone.”

To which they responded and I paraphrase “I don’t know who told you it was a judgment free zone. That only happens inside the walls of planet fitness.”

Laugh it up, I hear you snickering… just saying the word snickering reminds me of my favorite candy bar. On a side note Snickers is made by the Mars Company. Consequently girls go to Jupiter to get more stupider, guys go to Mars to get more candy bars. I guess I got the last laugh.

In a twist of irony I went to bed with an upset stomach! I know that seems very odd, but I am sure it was from the asparagus I had the night before.

Ok enough nonsense. It’s time to enter the Judgement Zone…

Here is the truth. What you do every now and then is not what matters, it’s what you do most of the time. If I ate like that every day, in 11 years I would no longer be allowed to ride in an elevator (elevator max capacity weight 2500 I would weigh 2501 pounds).

It’s easy to lose weight, its basic math. Create a calorie defect and you lose weight. However it takes knowledge to lose fat, build muscle and control fat storage as you do it.

It’s possible to gain fat while you lose weight. Have you ever been to the beach and saw a few “skinny fat” people? It’s obvious that they burn a lot of calories because they are skinny! And….. My God LOOK WHAT THEY ARE EATING! “If I ate like that I would weigh a ton.” The reason why they are “skinny fat” is not because they aren’t burning enough calories it’s because they don’t control fat storage.

I hate seeing people spin their wheels! They go to the gym, workout, do cardio, run marathons… and don’t look the way they want.
