Why Am I Overweight?
I don’t understand why I am overweight! I work out, I do cardio and I eat ok. I just can’t seem to get rid of this last 147 pounds around my waist.
Sound familiar?
I have been a trainer for 137 years and I have the exact same IQ as Shia Labeouf and Dora The Explorer (I guess she’s not that dumb. She figured out how to get her t-shirt over her ginormous head, which is physically impossible).
Contrary to popular belief I am not a brain surgeon, so if I figured out the principles of success you can to! It’s not what you did every now and then, that put you in the position you are today. It’s what you did most of the time!
Consistency is the key to break through.
A couple of years ago, I consistently ate too many Jelly Donuts (I always capitalize the word Donut out of respect) then one day I was wearing a pair of my favorite Jordache jeans and I split the back of them wide open. That’s when three Illegal Oreo cookie bakers (from Mexico) popped out, and I knew I had a problem, and I decided to change!
Now it’s your turn! It’s ok to start slow.
I could go into detail on the statistics of the average American, but I won’t bore you. I will just say this, the average American weighs 181 pounds. The average American spends 4 hours watching TV every night! If that same average American would spend 4 hours brushing their teeth instead of watching Walker Texas Ranger reruns they would burn an extra 822 calories a day! Over 365 days they would burn 85 pounds of Fat energy! (That was a bad analogy… My transformation was a reaction, that happened from watching the first season of Walker Texas Ranger, I didn’t work out, or eat right. I just watched Chuck Norris in action, and it scared the fat off my body.)
Consistency is the key to breakthrough. It’s the simple things over time, that add up to the mountain of success, or mole hill of failure you are now experiencing.
Go Grab your tooth brush! Let’s brush our teeth, and get in shape together. Do something that involves physically moving instead of watching TV.
One thing you can do today is download my Free Dining Out Guide! It will help you make better choices when you are on the go.
Thanks for Reading and Thanks Again Chuck Norris
