3 Secrets To Building Your Dream Body
As you can see by my before picture I enjoyed watching TV and eating donuts. You have probably noticed there is something fishy about the picture. You can’t quite put your finger on it can you? It’s really simple and you will probably feel stupid when I tell you. The pic on the right I am not wearing a shirt.
Let’s recap the pic on the left I am overweight and have a shirt on, the pic on the right I am in shape with no shirt on.
I said I would give you 3 Secrets they are really not secrets… there is really NO secrets to success. Success is really simple. You don’t have to have a high IQ to be in good shape… you don’t even have to have a high IQ to be filthy rich. The same principles that make you fat and dysfunctional used to your advantage will make you healthy and in shape.
1. Consistency
Let’s take a look at the picture of me on the left. I have one donut in my hand and three on a plate. The number of calories in the average donut is 195. In order to achieve that high quality physique I ate three donuts a day five days a week and I stored those calories as fat. In one year I was 42 pounds heavier.
Now let’s take a look at me on the right. I made a decision to eat healthy and workout which created a 570 calorie deficit five days a week for a year. In one year I was 42 pounds lighter.
2. Intentional actions
Most of our daily decisions are made unconsciously no one intends to be 400 pounds. Our brain forms a habit due to consistently doing the same actions. Your unconscious brain does not decide whether the decision is good or bad it acts according to previous programming. That’s why if you have an addiction to Oreos it’s hard to give it up. After the habit is formed you have to fight to break the old habit and form a new one.
3. Secret knowledge
Well there is no such thing as “secret knowledge” but there is a long way around the mountain and a short way. Being in shape and “building your dream body” is 75% nutrition 15% weight training 7% cardio and 3% supplementation. Bottom line it’s hard work. There is no easy way to get in the best shape of your life and anyone or any product that claims huge results with little or no effort will end up taking you the long way around the mountain.
