Prioritize

I get up at 4:30 am to 5:30 am 5 days a week and I absolutely love the morning but I would love it a lot more if it happened around noon. In the morning you have two choices you can stay in bed and dream or get up and chase your dreams.

I have been in the personal training industry a long time… What I have found is it doesn’t take a lot of brains to be in shape, it takes a lot of determination. Most trainers I have worked with think their way of training and working out is the best… most of them workout entirely different. They all can’t be right, but their plans generally work.

Why?

Because a mediocre plan executed is FAR BETTER than a great plan in a notebook on your desk.
Your body is the most valuable item you will ever own. You can have a jet airplane, and own a fleet of “super-yachts” but if you don’t have a body that works properly you can’t enjoy them.

That’s why it cracks me up when someone will spend $100k on a new car yet refuse to spend a penny for the services of a trainer.

Tonight I have a consultation with an old client if she sold all her Louis Vuitton purses and Jimmy Choo shoe’s for half price she could buy me a yacht (not a lie). Yet she will bicker about the price of training and probably buy the smallest least expensive package I have available.

The price for training is expensive but how much is it going to COST her if she doesn’t buy it? Another 10 pounds? Diabetes? A heart attack?

There is a difference between Cost and Price and I would rather pay the price so it didn’t COST me anything.
